The tour proceeds with a 20 mins walk along the fields to reach the hidden Mixta Cave. The cave overlooks the famous golden Ramla l-Hamra Bay. This spot is still a hidden treasure and is mostly known for the stunning view, the serenity and its grounding effect. The rocks inside the cave are crystalline, composed of crystals.
Famously known for the miracles attributed to the grace of Our Lady of The Assumption to whom the previous chapel was dedicated. The newly built church, built around the old chapel, is a splendour on its own with sculptures and craftsmanship in Maltese stone, also with mosaic walls depictin the mysteries of the Rosary outside of the church. A series of 14 marble statues representing the Via Crucis or Way of the Cross run up the hill opposite the church. You can also go up the hill through Via Crucis on foot for meditation. There is a quite spot overlooking Gozo in 360 degrees.

One of the best spots on the island to watch the sunset, this location offers breathtaking views after a short 10-minute walk from the road to the cliffs. As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by towering cliffs that frame the island’s coastline. Take a moment to sit, unwind, and soak in the peaceful surroundings, with only the sound of seagulls accompanying the fading light.
Perched on a promontory overlooking Mgarr Harbour, Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel offers breath-taking panoramic views of the Gozo Channel and Malta. Built in 1893 in Gothic style, the chapel is known for its steeply pitched roof, pointed arch windows, and a striking rose window above the entrance. A square tower with a slender spire houses five bells and a clock on each side. Beneath the chapel, nestled in a natural rock cavity, lies a statue of the Virgin Mary of Lourdes, sculpted in 1879. This peaceful spot is a favourite for visitors seeking scenic views and quiet reflection.
